Bintang MegaMall: Total floor areas of 400,000 square feet, more than 100 shops, fast food and beverage outlets, bookstore, watch shop, boutiques, optic centre, pharmacies and footwear stores. On the third floor is a 24-lane bowling alley, a food court and a Cineplex while an indoor archery sports centre is located on the lower roof level.
The Bintang MegaMall is the star complex of Miri, for its completeness and comprehensive array of shops and entertainment outlets. "Bintang" means "Star" in Malay language, and most appropriately so. It is currently still (as of 2006) the only complex with both a Cineplex and bowling alley in one in Miri. The complex was opened in 1996.
